Administration Team

My name is Heather Daminov, and I am one of your assistant principals here at The Socastee Elementary School.  I've been in education for over twenty years.  I've had the pleasure of teaching Kindergarten, first, fourth, and fifth grades.  I love watching children learn.  I also served as an instructional coach for many years before becoming an Assistant Principal which I have done for the last ten years.  In additional to being an educator, I am also a wife and mother of four.  While at home, I enjoy listening to books while I run, and taking care of our new puppy, Marcie Paige. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve these children and this community.  I love being a Shark!

Hi, My name is Tynesha James and I am currently one of the Assistant Principals at Socastee Elementary. I was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina. I am the oldest of all my siblings, three sisters and a brother. I attended Coastal Carolina University where I received my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education. Taught grades 3rd and 4th for 7 years in the Myrtle Beach Schools. I received my Master of Educational Leadership at Coastal Carolina University. Currently I am in my third year as an Assistant Principal and absolutely love being at Socastee Elementary. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, shopping, traveling out of the country and trying new foods. I enjoy all the staff and students at Socastee and love the great things that are happening here at SES.
